NEXT OUTREACH: SOUTH BEND WORK RELEASE- "CONCERT IN THE COURT YARD"

We are excited about the upcoming outreach concert at South Bend Work Release! You could say that I am overjoyed at the opportunity the Lord has granted us. And with the potential of one hundred and fifty inmates occupying this facility, we have an incredible harvest field!! ..We praise God for this door He has opened! 

The way the work release works is, the program allows a prisoner who is sufficiently trusted or can be sufficiently monitored to leave the jail to continue working at his place of employment, then returning to prison when his shift is complete. These men are all close to re-entering society. So not only are we are excited of the opportunity to meet these guys to talk and minister to them now,  but we also desire to connect with them as they leave and transition back into society; since most of these guys are local this event gives us a great opportunity to do this. 

And please know this, this event is not just a feel good social event where we just smile at these men and give them a token, “God bless you.” …No, we plan on being prayed up! Filled up! And fired up for JESUS!.. Amen. We will be sharing the LORD JESUS through song, in testimonies, in one on one times as we engage with the men, and through preaching. All for God’s glory-to see God bring revival to these men and this facility, to witness Jesus impact these men’s eternal destiny from eternal destruction to eternal salvation with the risen Christ!! Amen!

By the way, we are thrilled to have the band “Out Of The Dust” ministering with us. These men have a heart for ministry and a passion to share Jesus and see Him impact and change lives! Plus they have some awesome gifts and talents with music. So it is an honor to have them with us. Amen!

The other absolutely neat thing about this event is we are allowed to represent servant- hood to these men as the facility is allowing us to bring our grill, tables, and chairs into the courtyard to prepare and serve an outreach meal for the men. We will be  showing love in action as we serve the guys and slip up beside them as they eat to talk and fellowship with them….It’s going to be awesome!.. Please be praying for this event. Please pray about being part of it.

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO ATTEND THIS OUTREACH** 
Those of you, who wish to be part of this event, must contact me by July 12^th with your birth date. I am required to submit a list of names and birth dates to the facility. You will be required to have your driver’s license present to confirm entry into the facility on the 20^th. So please plan accordingly. Many times people just show up the day of the outreach to be part of the outreach. This outreach you will not be able to do this. So again, if you plan on being part of this outreach contact me with your intent and I will need your birthday. You must be over eighteen. Thank you.

Where: South Bend Work Release Facility (4650 Old Cleveland Road South Bend IN, 46628) 
Time: Noon - 3:3pm (Set up 10am) 
 
We plan on grilling up over 400 hotdogs. We will also be serving potato chips, cookies, and lemon-aid. Plus we will be handing out free Bibles. If anyone would like to assist in helping finically with this outreach please contact me.

LA CASA BLOCK PARTY REACAP...IT WAS AWESOME!!!

Incredible outreach this last Saturday at LaCasa Apartments in Elkhart! A big shout to all who prayed and gave toward this outreach, Thank you so much! Also, a big thanks to the servants, the workers, the ministers who came out and gave up their Saturday to be the hands and feet of Jesus… God bless you all!

What a day! And what a time we all had inviting the neighborhood people. We all always go out three times prior to the outreach knocking on doors and meeting the area people and inviting them to the outreach. This is really a key to many of the people coming. These one on one encounters really help many of the folk get to know us and it gives them a sense of peace to now be able to come to the event. Since they met us and have been given a personal invite they now feel comfortable to venture over to the block party. Plus, it also allows us to really be used of God as we offer prayer and share the Gospel message.

And we had some powerful times! I share a powerful testimony (below) of a young man who was away from God and this door to door encounter changed his life, as God had me cross paths with him at the right time.

The outreach itself was outstanding. I had several people tell me they heard about it on local TV. I am not sure what they saw or heard as we were not running any TV adds.. Ha!... How cool is that? But several said to me, “I seen a family event going on in LaCasa so I drove over.” All I can say is Praise God!”

Every area of ministry at the outreach flowed together- from the food team, to the book table, clothing, music, bounce house, sound system, face painting, balloons. Jesus was exalted and the love of Jesus was shown in Word and in deed. Amen.

The one on one ministry was powerful. Everyone that visited the outreach was given a question-air. This question-air asked them two questions. #1 it asks “Do you believe you will go to Heaven when you Die?” And  # 2 it asks the question of “why? So basically, these question-airs give us a gage to know where the person is at spiritually. From these two answers we then can minister to them as the Holy Spirit leads us. The other important bit of info on these question-airs is their contact information. (name, address, cell number) from this info we can follow up with a home visit or a phone call.

We had some incredible one on one encounters. Several were lead to Jesus as the Gospel was share to them. Everyone was prayed over. And the ones who did not have a Church home were invited to our Church fellowship- as we had info that we gave them.

The highlight of the day was when we shut all the tables down (even the bounce house) for everyone to gather around to hear the preaching of the Word. We did this right in the middle of the block party, the height of activity, when we had the most people at the event.

Pastor Jeff Cooper, from Christ Kingdom Fellowship preached a powerful evangelistic message. And the altar call was incredible! Some where around eighty people responded to Christ! Right outside in open air, people walked to the front to pray, to repent to get right with the Lord! It was incredible! People were prayed for to be delivered from strong holds and to be set free by the power of Jesus Christ! Many people were crying out to God for freedom!

The call was made for people who were ill and battling an infirmity. Several were prayed for. One lady named Mary had a hearing issue-she could hear out of her right ear. She cried out to the Lord for healing and she had hands laid on her for the recovery of her hearing and she cried on with tears of joy as she was healed and she could now hear! We all raised our hands in praise unto Jesus as this woman was healed. Praise the name of Jesus!! Our God is real and He still saves, heals and delivers!!!

 A FRIDAY NIGHT STREET TESTIMONY:

(A PRODICAL COMES HOME)  We were going door to door inviting everyone we could to the outreach on Saturday and we came to a door with several kids and a young man named Demetris. As Jodi and Katherine were talking to the kids, it gave me time to minister to Demetris. He told me how nicotine and street life have been a vice in his life. I shared with the story of the Prodigal son, who once he came to himself, just had to turn and go back home....amen..... I shared with him that once heading home, the Father will be waiting for you..not to condemn you or to be-raid you, but to love you.... I then walked over to Demetria and embraced him.. I hugged him with the love of Christ!!..amen.. and I looked him in the eye and said to him...."God loves you!"... He then said I want to surrender all to Him tonight.... Halleluiah!.. The son who was lost is now found!!... Glory to God.

SOME QUICK STREET TESTIMONIES

Hi Friends of Life Line Outreach,

We have been going out in the streets inviting folk to this Saturdays block-party outreach...Here is a quick update... Please keep us in your prayers..

 One guy I talked to by the Rail Road tracks named John, he admitted to me he was away from where he needed to be with Jesus. After sharing some verses with him and offering prayer, he cried out to Jesus in forgiveness... He was invited  to the Saturday block party..Praise God!... I hope he comes.

I also came across two young men who were doing nothing in particular..I struck up a conversation with them... I shared with them how God desires to set them free from bondage and give them a  new life.. I also shared the judgement to come as we all stand before a Judge that cant be bribed or lied to... They listened, the older guy of the two was taking it in, the younger fellow just had a smirk on his face...I asked him if he thought this was funny?... he said no.

One apartment that I visited I had a great dialog with a young family.. The kids were excited about the upcoming block party.. The parents seemed interested... I then swayed the conversation to the spiritual and shared God's great love for man-kind.. which allowed me to share the whole reason Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil and to seek and save that which was lost...They claimed to be believers- from that I exhorted them to pray as a family.. (a family that prays together stays together!..Amen).. I also shared with them, as parents have a responsibility to raise their children in the fear of God..Which means... prayer, bible study, seeking God, church fellowship, stewardship, etc... They agreed... I Hope they visit the block party Saturday as seemed very interested in learning more... 

...Were heading back out again tonight (6pm - 8pm) to minister to the area neighborhoods around La Casa Apartments in Elkhart.... Thanks for the prayers...thanks for reading.
