A Great South Bend Juvenile Testimony!!

Here's a cool testimony given by Margie Martin. Her and Tony (her husband [picture on left]) go in regularly to the South Bend Juvenile Correctional Facility as part of the Life Line team. They both are awesome ministers, they have a love and passion for the Lord and they both desire to spread the Word of God and see people come to Jesus.

Recently their son Steve [picture on right] who is back in town for the Christmas holidays was able to attended and minister to the youth in the facility! How cool is that!! Steve is an awesome young man who has devoted the last couple of years of his life being discipled and trained to make an impact for Christ. He is attending the Honor Academy in Texas, which is a discipleship program connected with teen mania. God worked it out and granted favor to allow Steve to come into the facility.

Let this testimony encourage you..
…. WOW!!! What an awesome time!! I am so glad we were able to take Steve in with us. They (the youth who attended the meeting) really connected with him and had lots of questions about the Honor Academy. Steve noticed as they came in that they had to re-enter the hallway again because they didn’t do it right the first time. He told them it is the same at the Honor Academy and how becoming self-disciplined is a benefit in life.

We talked about Christmas, and how Christ was the first gift ever given on the first Christmas ever. We talked about what it meant to be born in a manger… imagine, a KING in a food trough! And how God wants so desperately to connect with us that He was willing to do that. They had a lot of questions and we had great discussion time. A couple of them talked about demonic dreams they have been having and Tony and I both felt led to do a time of prayer before leaving. WOW! There were tears and broken hearts. As I prayed for them, I was overtaken by God’s love for them. It was powerful!

There was one young man (Edward, I think?) that I saw in the spirit as I prayed with him – he was a 10-foot tall warrior in full armor with a sword in hand. MAN! The prayer time went SO well that the guards came and released the guys to get their snacks and then let them come back for more prayer. J The young man that had been having demonic dreams was not ready to accept Christ yet, but we had a good discussion on how he, on his own, does not have the authority to overcome those, but through Christ, he will have all authority over the enemy. I encouraged him to call out to Jesus when he is afraid. I encouraged him that Christ will always be his defender when he is ready to allow Him to be Lord over his life.

Anyway… just wanted to update you. Thank you for the blessings!!

Margie

P.S. We had 19-20 guys!! The room was packed! It was awesome!

Christmas Outreach was awesome!

The Christmas Outreach was totally incredible!

The lord allowed us favor to speak to more people this year then ever before. So many of the people we talked to were in need. So Many were laid off and hurting financially. Most all were very thankful for the blessing of the ham and Bible. The stuffed animals were a great blessing to the children.

One lady, named Irene, told me that "this was the most precious thing anyone has ever done for me." She was so thankful. We testified of God's greatness and prayed for her.

One group from our team met a lady who recently had heart surgery and the Lord had her ready to be reaped. As the team shared the Gospel to her, she repented and surrendered her life to Jesus!!..Praise God.

Jodi prayed for and ministered to a lady who recently lost her husband. She was so touched and blessed by the prayer.

All of us had so many great encounters and testimonies. We were able to testify of how God set us free and saved us! We laid our hands on many sick people, praying and believing God to heal and deliver. We were able to share the true meaning of Christmas and that is God sending the world a Savior named Jesus!!

**Also, Praise God!! All the fiances were met!! (plus some!)...God is so faithful.

Thanks everyone for your giving, support and prayers. To God be the glory!!

God bless
