FIRST BLOCK PARTY OF THE YEAR COMING UP MAY 4th

The first outreach of the year is coming up in two weeks, and we are excited! We will be setting up and ministering in a familiar low-income trailer park called Village Green in Mishawaka, IN. This will be our third block party in Village Green. All of them have been incredible! We have seen some awesome fruit come of these outreaches.

These block party outreaches are a super effective way to reach the lost. Many of the people we meet in these outreaches are not focused on going “to church”. Many since have, and that is awesome! That is an example of the fruit that a changed life will bring. However, many are not seeking God and many are not interested in the things of God.  Many people have been disappointed by the church, hurt by the church, or they plainly had wrong expectations of the church. Whatever the case may be, they aren’t planning to visit any time soon. This is why these block party-style outreaches are effective. The church goes to them. We meet them right where they are.

By us being a blessing and being servants to everyone we meet, this softens hard hearts and it opens up spiritual dead ears so they can hear what we have to say. By serving free food, by offering free clothing, by loving on their kids, and by offering unconditional love to the least of these God begins to draw and save. It is a glorious thing! While their hearts are open, we dialog and share with those we meet. We share the love of Christ. We share that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that He loves them and made a way for them to be saved.

Yes, we give out free food, play loud music, face paint, have a bounce house, give away clothing, offer free haircuts, and have a fun time, but the mission of these outreaches is sharing the one true Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen!

We will again be teaming up with Visions of Praise Ministries, Christian Center Church, plus other saints of God who have a heart to reach people for Jesus, so please pray about being part of the outreach.

Our first step as we mobilize toward the outreach is to go door-to-door to invite the people to the outreach. These door-to-door opportunities are always incredible! This is where we hand the people an invitation flyer to the event. We also offer prayer and witness Jesus as the Holy Spirit directs us.

We always go out in pairs, as we place an experienced minister with a person who may be new to street ministry. This is a way for the newbies to learn and to get comfortable talking to people about Jesus (plus it takes the excuses away for not witnessing). Amen.

Door to Door Witnessing/Passing out Flyers:  (6pm -8pm)
Friday April 26th
Monday April 29th
Friday May 3rd.

Block Party Outreach
Saturday May 4th  Time: 1pm – 4pm (setting up at 11 am)

Location of Village Green Mobile Home Park
The 12th street Entrance on Wedgewood Dr. in Mishawaka

From setup and cleanup to ministering to the neighborhood kids with games and face painting, and from helping with the bounce house to helping with grilling the food and serving the food, at a Block Party event there are many ministry opportunities for everyone no matter what their comfort level.

We will be witnessing one-on-one, handing out Bibles and tracts plus sharing testimonies. Plus, during the event around the half way point, we will shut everything down and gather the people to hear Pastor Mark Lantz preach a repentance message with an altar call and opportunity to get right with the Lord. Please pray for God to draw the sinners and backsliders.

Please pray about coming out to help minister. If you cannot make it out, please pray for the outreach. Please pray for God to touch lives and save souls.

Those who would like to sow an offering toward this can do so on line with PayPal at  At the top right hand side of this webpage is a donate button, or you can simply mail us a check made out to Life Line Outreach Ministries. The cost of an outreach like this is around $400.00 - $500.00. All monies received will go toward outreach expenses.

Another ministry need is Bibles and Christian Books/tapes/CDs/DVDs. We always have a table at the outreaches where they are given out free of charge. We are currently pretty low on these items. If you have any you would like to donate please let me know.

Thanks Saints for your prayers. Thanks for reading this update. If you have any questions or comments, or if you need clarification please call me. Thanks so much!

God bless!

MINISTRY UPDATE -Good Friday Service / Bashor "180 Event"

The last couple of weeks we were busy with a couple of ministry events... Below is the update...Thanks for your prayers...

180 Event:

We recently completed our second “180 Event” at Bashor Children’s Home and it was awesome! Without a doubt, God is doing some neat things at Bashor children’s Home and it’s a pleasure to be part of it.

The thing I love about these 180 Events is that they are campus wide, meaning all of the cottages are invited to be part of the event. And with new students being added from time to time, this meeting allows us to meet the new students and minister to them.

We started the “180 event” with two worship songs, exalting God and really creating an atmosphere of
expectancy. Then we had two powerful testimonies from the Teen Challenge brothers. After that, I delivered a word exhorting the students to make that “180” turn toward God- sharing the bible account of Zacchaeus who went after Jesus and repented.

We had a powerful altar call with several young people coming forward to ask for forgiveness and accept prayer.

We closed the event with some raffle give-a ways, which are always a neat time as we bless the students with some cool gifts.

Good Friday Service at Teen Challenge:

It is always a blessing to connect and hang out with the Teen Challenge men. God is doing some awesome things at the Teen Challenge Center and it was an honor for us at Life Line along with Christ’s Kingdom Fellowship to lead the Good Friday Chapel Service.

A big shout of thanks to Andy Collins (Director) and the staff of North Central Indiana Teen Challenge for allowing us to come in; we had some great fellowship before and after the service, along with and most important an awesome time praying, worshiping our risen Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Amen. Pastor Jeff Cooper shared a power word leading to several Teen Challenge men coming forward for prayer and ministry during the altar call.

Please keep the ministry of Teen Challenge in your prayers. Freedom from addictions has it many challenges and tests along the way, but with God nothing is impossible! And that is why I love Teen Challenge, because they are all about leading these men to Christ and discipling them.

Thanks for your prayers and support- God bless!
