A Man Touched On The Outreach

A man by the name of Victor called one of the churches who teamed up to make this outreach a success here's what he said: "Claudia and Arturo prayed with me and I was touched. I want everyone to know how much I appreciate the prayers and the prayers from Claudia and Arturo."

PRAISE GOD!!

2 More Testimonies

HI,
THIS IS RAY BEAN JR., COMING TO SHARE WITH YOU THE BLESSINGS BESTOWED ON ME 12/17/06. I WAS ASKED TO HELP HAND OUT FOOD BASKETS WITH FELLOW CHURCHES.

THE JOY THAT PEOPLE HAD ON THEIR FACES WAS A BLESSING TO ME. SOMETIMES WE DON'T UNDERSTAND AS CHRISTIANS THE LITTLE THAT WE DO TURNS OUT TO BE ENORMOUS IN OTHER PEOPLES LIVES. WE WERE ABLE PASS OUT 110 BASKETS AND PRAY FOR THE FAMILIES THAT RECEIVED THEM FOR A LOT OF THINGS IN THEIR LIVES.

AT THE END WE HAD ABOUT 20 BASKETS LEFT. WE DECIDED TO GO THIS CHURCH. A LOT OF OTHERS WONDERED ABOUT DOING IT, BUT IT FELT SO RIGHT IN MY SPIRIT THAT I SAID TO THE OTHERS LET'S JUST GO AND LOOK IN. IF THEY ARE HAVING SERVICE WE WILL LEAVE. AS GOD WOULD HAVE IT THE SERVICE WAS OVER. IT WAS TIME TO BLESS. I ASKED FOR THE PASTOR OF THE CHURCH. HE WALKED OUT AND LOOKED VERY FAMILIAR TO ME. AS WE BEGAN TO EXCHANGE WORDS THE MEMORY CAME BACK TO WHERE I KNEW HIM FROM. SO WE EXPLAINED THAT WE WANTED TO BLESS THE CHURCH WITH THE BASKETS. HOPING IT COULD HELP THEM TO HELP OTHERS. AND PRAISE GOD IT DID.
THANK YOU,
GOD BLESS

-Bro. Ray Bean

God did exceedingly and abundantly beyond what we could ask or imagine. When Steve first shared with me that about the “Food Basket Outreach” that He and Dave were planning my thought was Okay Karen and I will put together 10 baskets and the four of us will go out and distribute them. Well did God have bigger plans or what??!!

I guess I need to expand my tent pegs just a little. LOL
God supplied 114 Food Baskets and 28 servants to help. It was a lot of work but not once was it over whelming. God grace was truly enough!!

It was an awesome day of ministry. We were able to pray with many who were out of work, the elderly on a fixed income, single moms at wits-end and precious Johnny who wanted to be set free from a alcohol addiction.

Best of all we were able to give each household a new Bible, the bread of life.

A big THANK-YOU to all who gave a labor of love towards this outreach.
We serve an awesome God!! Who has awesome kids.
We love you all and count it a privilege to be co-laborers together in the harvest with you.

Testimoies & Pic's

Below are a few pictures of the area where we had the outreach.
Also a couple of testimonies.

As i look back at the outreach i can only say one thing...God is awesome! Awesome in preparing the workers, preparing the residents, awesome in the supply of food and money and awesome in giving us the desire of our hearts.
All the residents were receptive to prayer and most appreciated the food. One particular encounter that stands out in my mind is that we went to a trailer and a young lady came to the door. she was only there to let out the dog because her aunt was out of town. this young lady lives in Elkhart and has 5 young children and a husband who is low on work. she said that they are really stretched financially. we asked her if she would like the food box, her eyes lit up and she said yes. we then had the chance to minister to her and prayed a prayer of faith and healing over her and her family. we also gave all the kids toys...they loved it!!!
The other standout is we came to a Hispanic church where one of the team members happened to know the pastor. we blessed them with lots of food boxes and toys. the pastor said that they have many needy families that need blessed and they had been praying to god for the resources to do it. Isn't God good!!!!!! he sends us to bless them so they can bless others we will never know this side of heaven!!!! awesome!!! we had a time of prayer with the pastor, some church members and many from our group. as you can see, there were many divine appointments.
i think it is only a small example of what can happen when we get out of our comfort zone and respond in faith to the gospel that we know and do the "work of ministry." remember, real bible faith is believing the word of god until IT determines what you think, what you say and what you DO!! so many times we leave off the doing part and ,of course, miss the greatest blessing that god has for us. -Bro. As I reflect back on the outreach, many-many things stand out as incredible.
The supply that God provided was totally awesome! 114 food baskets! Wow!! God is truly a provider. Next the people of God who came forth, giving up a full day so close to Christmas, it was a sacrifice and praise God for people’s obedience. Also, for many it was the first time ministering on the streets. PRAISE GOD!! The weather was another blessing from God,
Typical weather December in North Indiana is not 50 degrees. Again all praise to the Lord!!

Prior to the outreach Jodi and I prayed for God to lead us to those who would need to receive the blessing of food and receive the Gospel. God was truly faithful – I prayed that we would be able to go into every home and minister
together to the people and again God moved on hearts and we were asked in to every home we went to.

We first met 3 people were in a trailer. They were very respectful to us (they did seem a little nervous) and we talked and Jodi and I were able to share the real reason of Christmas and we prayed for them and they were thankful for the food basket.

Jodi was really blessed by the next couple we met. A elderly couple with a fixed income. Inside their trailer it was real simple as they didn’t have much. The man
Was raised Baptist and it had been year since his was in church. The lady was baptized many years ago she said. We shared with them how God led us to them for the specific reason to remind them that God desires to be their Lord and to have a daily relationship with them and how they need to call out to God. We shared much more with them and prayed over them- Both of them had a lot of ailments and we laid hands on them believing God to touch them and heal them. Both of them had tears in their eyes as we left. I held up the Bible that we had in the boxes and reminded them how Jesus desires to speak to them as they read the Word of God!! It was truly awesome to minister to them...Were planning on stopping back and checking on them.

We met a young Hispanic couple with 2 babies. The lady couldn’t speak English
So the young man was interpreting to her what we were saying about Jesus!!
(Wow!..that was neat.) Both were convicted big time. Again- we encouraged them to repent, read the Word and seek the Lord. They really needed the food as it was obvious that they had very little. We prayed for them and exalted Jesus!

Another testimony that stands out was a black gentlemen we met his name was Donnie. He was living with his girl friend who was a JW. He was very respectful and listened to us minister Jesus. We encouraged him to repent & read the Bible and seek the Lord for truth. He said he was struggling with a drinking problem. We shared how Jesus could set him free!! Totally forever! Donnie took his hat off as we prayed. We prayed for him to know Jesus and for Jesus to set him free.

We could go and on as we met others ..It was such a awesome outreach.
I do want to share this last testimony as it real stands out to me. We had one last box and I walked up to the trailer with my mom. A young lady answered and I shared why were there and how God was wanting to bless her and her family today with this food basket. Her jaw fell open and she was speechless as come to find out she had mostly nothing to feed her kids. Her two boys came running to us. They were 4 to 5 years old. They grabbed on us and just hugged us. I know they didn’t realize what was going on but the Spirit of God moving and touching them and their mother was weeping she was so thankful.

These were just a few testimonies from the awesome day we all had. Please pray as were planning on getting back with many that we ministered to. I will try to keep the blog updated with current info & prayer needs.
God bless

Christmas Food Basket Outreach was Awesome!!

The Outreach was Amazing!!
God supplied 114 baskets!!

Each basket consisted of a 5Lb ham, apple pie, boxed dressing, boxed potatoes, 2 cans of gravy, canned vegtables, canned yams, pkg of rolls, 1 pkg of butter and brand new Bible. Plus we had toys we gave to the children.

28 ministers showed up to help distribute and minister to the needy. For many it was their first time ever ministering outside the chuches. PRAISE GOD!!! The Holy Ghost is raising up annointed outreach ministers!!! Everyone was blessed beyond words.

God moved in a mighty way! It was awesome the "God-appointments" that we all had. God had us target three very needy and impoverished areas. We loaded up all the Food Boxes in three trucks and our vehicles and went door-to-door delivering these Christmas Food Boxes from Jesus.

The responses of those we gave to was absolutely incredible. The need was overwhelming as many of the people were at “wits-end” both financially and physically. Many were speechless as they had never experienced a stranger giving them such a blessing, many wept with thanks. So many said they had been thinking about God lately. (God Appointments) We hugged them and loved on them, we shared the Gospel and many fell under strong conviction. Everyone was prayed over. It was absolutely incredible. Its hard to put words on what we all experienced. All Praise and Glory goes to Jesus!!

I will be posting more pics and testimonies very soon. (Please check back)

God bless
