This August 27th is scheduled an outreach at Miami Hills Apartment Complex from 11am – 3 pm. We are truly excited about this opportunity.
The management of the complex was thrilled to have us all come in to minister Jesus. In fact, one of the maintenance men who works at the complex said “I’ve been praying for the Lord to kick the devil out of this place- you all are an answer to prayer.” It is so cool to get a welcome like this, and yes! We say "do it Lord!"..Amen! Show your glory and saving power to the people of Miami Hills!
A couple of weeks ago we were at Miami Hills doing some street ministry, this is when we knew that we needed to inquire of the Lord to set up an outreach right here on the complex.- And yes here we come!
Miami Hills is a government assisted apartment complex (over 600 apartments) with a very urban inner city feel to it. While we were there talking and ministering to people there were many people just hanging around outside sitting on their steps, or hanging out around the parking lot. Many of them were drinking or had been drinking. But As we would engage in conversations with these folk and as rough as the outer shells seem to be, so many of them were open to listen and talk about the Lord and the things of God. Many of these folk are at rock bottom and the buzz they get from the booze doesn’t satisfy any more, they know that there is a better way. And that better way is the only way and that is Jesus!

We know it’s going to be an incredible outreach. Those of you reading this, please feel invited to come out and help reach out to this community. It takes the whole body of Christ to minister effectively. These folk need Jesus and we can offer that. Amen.
There are many areas to help from setup-clean up, manning a book table, helping with the clothing table, face painters, keeping food tables clean, etc. And most of all there are always witnessing opportunities at outreaches as the environment that is created is prime condition to talk to anyone about Jesus.
Those who cannot come to this outreach, please pray for the Holy Spirit to draw and convict. Pray that the folk at Miami Hills wont be able to resist the moving of the Spirit.
Pray for souls to repent and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus.
