ANOTHER LANGLE PARK OUTREACH COMING UP OCTOBER 25th

Hi Friends and Family,

As many of you know, we had an awesome Free Bar-BQ Outreach at Langle Park this last August and we are planning another one this October for the community around Langle Park. At the August Outreach some 250+ inner city people showed up for free food, Bibles, fun for their kids and fellowship. We got to know many of the neighborhood people and God opened many doors for us to minister the Gospel and pray for families, individuals, and children. Really, it was one of the best outreaches I have ever been a part of and we know that God is still working powerfully in the Langle Park/5th-6th Street area. So were planning another outreach for October and you are all invited to help minister.

WHEN: Saturday, October 25th 12:00 p.m. to 5:00pm

WHAT: LANGLE PARK OUTREACH AND COOKOUT

WHO: Seeking compassionate Christians who have a heart to minister Jesus in a variety of ways. From preparing food, serving food, face painting, set-up tables and chairs, clean up tables, greeting and loving on people, handing someone a cold drink, playing and loving on the children, playing basketball with the youth, praying for people, sharing your testimony, ministering the Gospel.

Those that would like to prepare food to donate, we could use: potato salad, Cole slaw, baked beans, or any other of these type of foods.

*Also (A Big need!)—we really need people who can speak Spanish. We had a lot of Spanish folk who came to the outreach in July. So if you can speak Spanish please pray about being a part of this outreach.

**Also#2 (Another big need) – Many Children came to the last outreach. So if you have a ministry with Kids we could sure use you. Example= puppets, clowns, games, etc.

WHERE: Langle Park, Lincoln Street Elkhart, IN
ADDITIONAL DETAILS: this outreach is scheduled for late October. So dress for the cooler weather. You may want to bring a lawn chair for yourself. We are providing all food, drinks, and eating/drinking utensils. Anyone wishing to make a donation to this outreach to offset expenses please contact me, Steve Ignowski, for details.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THE OUTREACH: Ask God to bind and remove Satan’s work in these people’s life’s and for God to open their eyes to the truth of the gospel so that he/she will receive and believe the gospel. Pray that God will hook up the right people together at the Outreach and that the Word of God will take root in these people’s life and bring about true salvation that comes with genuine repentance a repentance that will cause him/her to hate sin and to turn from it. Almost forgot please pray that God would bless us with good weather for the day.

We will be ministering on the streets in that area on occasional Friday nights leading up to the outreach. If anyone would like to assist with that please contact me.

Washington Gardens Outreach Update

We at Life Line Outreach teamed up with RAVEN Midwest, this past Saturday and we had an awesome outreach at Washington Gardens in Elkhart, IN. We were able to minister to many people, much Gospel seed was sown and two people prayed with the team surrendering their lives to Jesus making Him Lord of their lives!--Awesome!

Washington Gardens is a government assisted housing area in Elkhart, it is a very needy area and it was blessing to prepare a meal and serve the people in the neighborhood. We were able to minister and pray with all who came. We even played a game of touch football with the young guys who live in the area- we had a blast!


It was good to see Terry Shuff again. He was back in town visiting and of course he hooked up with us. Terry has such a heart for outreach and to see souls saved. Terry and Eileen moved to Daytona Beach, Florida and are operating RAVEN Daytona Beach ministering out on the streets. We had a great time visiting with him.

LANGLE PARK UPDATE

Hey everyone!

The outreach today was absolutely incredible!

We estimate that 200+ people came to the free Barb-B-Q and festivities. We had some 50 team members representing six area ministries and Churches. We considered this first time outreach at Langle Park a great success.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and support. It was incredible. Much Gospel seed sown and many lives were touched by Jesus.
