NEXT BLOCK PARTY OUTREACH: JUNE 8th ... You're invited!!

We are excited!

In just a couple of weeks we will be having our second block party outreach of the year right here in Elkhart at La Casa Estates Apartments. Last year we had an incredible time ministering there, many lives were touched and we are looking forward to more of the same.

We will again, be showing the love of Jesus in a tangible way with free food, live music, free clothing to the needy, we will be handing out Bibles and loving on the kids with face painting plus everyone’s favorite the bounce house!

LaCasa is right down town Elkhart a very urban apartment complex. We are excited to shine the light of Jesus to all we come in contact with.

We will be ministering in the neighborhoods several days prior to the outreach event, to invite people and get to know them. We will be passing out flyer invites, witnessing the love of Jesus, sharing the Gospel and offering prayer. These are always exciting times stepping out and allowing God to flow and touch lives. Please pray about being part of these street ministry times.

Friday June 7^th.

(We will meet at La Casa Apartments off Prairie St. starting at 6pm till 8pm)

**Outreach will be Saturday June 8^th (from 1pm - 4pm set up time is 11am)

There are many ways to serve and be part of this outreach; the number one way is to pray. Please pray for souls to be touched with the Gospel and for people to repent and call out to Jesus for salvation. Pray for open hearts to be receptive as the team shares the Gospel, testifies and preaches. Pray for fruit to come from the ministry-lasting fruit…all to the glory of God!

Another way to help is to donate…If anyone would like to donate food, Bibles, Christian books, supplies, etc. please contact me.

Also, we could really use Gods people to come out and serve and shine the love of Jesus. Please pray about assisting and being part of the team to witness Christ. There are multiple areas to serve: from loving on kids, greeters, food servers, helping with the bounce house, face painting, grilling hotdogs & grilled cheeses, cleaning tables, etc. …. Please pray. We always minister together as team (the body of Christ).

VILLAGE GREEN OUTREACH UPDATE MAY 2013

Greetings. We just finished our first block-party outreach of the year Saturday and it was absolutely incredible! ((SEE ALL PIC’S BELOW)) I had many tell me they thought this outreach was the best one we have ever had. And to be honest, it would be hard to argue with that.

The turnout was absolutely amazing as we estimate that close to four hundred people came to the event. We were completely wiped out of 300 hundred hotdogs and 100 grilled chesses in less than 2 hours. It really was a great time ministering to so many people. The team did an excellent job sharing their faith, serving, loving on people, testifying of the greatness of Jesus as Lord of our lives.

Great Turn Out!!

One of the things that is unique and really awesome about this event is the fact, that we have so many different Ministries and Churches coming together. We team up with the common goal of JESUS! We minister together, we serve together, all with the love of Christ and this is what it takes to make these outreaches happen. No one group can do this alone and it totally thrills me to be part of such a unified team. We have somewhere in the neighborhood of seven to ten different churches/ministries represented and we all join hands to shine a living Christ! I salute you all. It was such a great day!

The bounce house, as always, was a complete hit, it brings in the kids, which in turn brings in the older kids and parents. We handed out many free Bibles and Christian books. A dear sister in the Lord, (Mari Plumb) was standing all day giving out free hair cuts, what a blessing she is!

A big shout out to Visions of Praise Ministries as they had all their free clothing set up, they also handed out free loaves of bread. The face painting team did a tremendous job! Our sound man did a great job! All the ministers who showed up and engaged the people, witnessing, testifying; they all did an incredible job. The food team and the guys running the grill plus the food servers all did an outstanding job. What servants! It was awesome having a few Teen Challenge brothers out with us-as two of them gave their testimonies and one of the brothers jammed on his guitar to the glory of God! Amen.

One of the big highlights of the block party was the time we set aside for the preaching of the Word. We literally shut down everything and gathered all the people to the sound area to hear the message. Pastor Mark Lantz of Christian Center Church delivered a powerful word exhorting the people to call out to Jesus for forgiveness and to receive a changed life!

Several people came forward as Pastor Mark had them take a step of faith walking to the front. It was awesome as several families came forward to call out to God! Amen. It was a marvelous thing!

**Update: I talked with Al Sabin yesterday (Sunday) & Al reported that three of the families who came forward at the outreach were picked up on the bus for church Sunday morning. Praise God!

Our prayer is that we will see much fruit from this outreach and that the fruit will remain! Amen.
