SUNSET TRAILER VILLAGE OUTREACH UPDATE

The Outreach to this little trailer court in South Bend was awesome!

Twelve people showed up to be a part of the ministry team. It was an absolute great time.

The team did an outstanding job loving on folk, sharing with them, praying with the people, serving them, praise God!

The people of Sunset Trailer Village were so appreciative. They were open for prayer and dialog. The Holy Spirit was touching lives in a big way!..To Him be the glory!

The really great news is that two men named Ron and Brain prayed and cried out to Jesus, repenting and making Him Lord and Savior!!! Amen!... the angels were rejoicing!!

Thanks so much for those who prayed and gave toward this outreach. We were able to put together some aweome food boxes. We had toys for the kids- It was a great time being a blessing.

UPDATE!!: Two of the people we ministered to yesterday came to church!..Praise God! Thanks for praying Saints!

This precious lady (below)with her great granddaughters was so appreciative of the food box and prayers she received. She is a believer and we were able to encourage her in the Lord and we prayed over her kids.

This man (below) was so thankful that we were in the park and blessing the needy. The Holy Spirit was convicting him in a big way.. Keep him in your prayers.

The Joy of salvation!!

While Brain was receiving Jesus. This man (below) named Ron, was praying and receiving Jesus as well!!.. What was so cool about this- we almost passed this man's trailer as he wasnt home. He pulled in just as we were walking by.. A true God appointment. He was confronted with Jesus and prayed to make heaven his home...Glory to God!!

Ron received Jesus!!.. Praise the Lord!

PLEASE PRAY FOR UPCOMING OUTREACH

The next two week we will be ministering at a small trailer park called “Sunset Trailer Village.” We certainly are excited. We know God lead us to this little community. STV is an older trailer park with about thirty or so trailers, at least ten or so are abandoned and falling apart. The few times we have driven through the park we have noticed many children. We are excited and anticipating the Lord to really touch many lives here. This trailer village is less than four miles from our local church (Christian Center). We are definitely going to make an effort to connect these folk to our fellowship to follow up with them and see them grow close to God and be discipled.

This Saturday, a team will be ministering as they go door to door passing out flyers and greeting the people.

Then the following Saturday, the 26th, we will be ministering as we pass out the food boxes.

We are believing God to touch lives, soften hearts to draw them to a relationship.

Please pray for Gods anointing and boldness to speak and confront-this isn’t a social activity-we are believing to reap a harvest to see people saved, healed and delivered!.Amen.

OUTREACH TESTIMONY

Saturdays outreach was awesome! (See Pics below)

We hooked up to assisted Pastor Terry Vaughn with his new church location in inner city South Bend. The church and ministry is called “Fit For The Kingdom” (cool name). The new Church is located just off Michigan Street on West Lincolnway and it is an absolutely great ministry location.

Pastor Terry’s heart is to reach out to the community- to help and be there for the people showing them not only in word but in deed the Kingdom of God. It was awesome to team up with his congregation and reach out to the area neighborhoods.

We had an awesome turn out. Sometimes it’s tough to get people to leave their warm apartment/house in the middle of winter to venture a few blocks. But God drew them in and touched many lives!

A meal was prepared and served for the guests. Music, testimonies and preaching took place. The young kids all received presents. Everyone was ministered and prayed for. And a food box was given out at the end of the meeting.

God sure showed up as two people received Christ as their Lord and Savior. Also, a man who was deaf received prayer for healing and God touched him and his ear drum was healed and he could hear! He joyfully testified at the end of the meeting of his miracle. Praise God!

UPDATE:
Pastor Vaughn communicated with us yesterday that three of the families who were at the outreach showed up for church Sunday! Glory to God!

Thanks Saints for you prayers. You’re all awesome! God is moving and we are honored and privileged to be reaching out to the un-churched and needy.


(Next Outreach) COMING UP:
There is a small Trailer Park on the south west side of South Bend (Sunset Trailer Village) with about twenty or so units that occupy this trailer court, it very impoverished and very needy.

This February (Feb 26th tentatively) we are planning on putting some food boxes together to go door to door and love on and minister to the people there. Please pray for this outreach. We will not only be blessing the people with food, a natural substance- but we will also be ministering to them spiritually. We will be sharing the Gospel, praying for all needs, believing God to touch lives drawing them to a saving relationship.

We desire to put together some good food boxes. Every box will have a new Bible in it, along with canned goods: soups, tuna, vegetables, boxed cereals, potatoes etc. We are also planning on putting in these boxes some eggs, meat, and bread.
