This December 17th, 2010 the lifeline team will be reaching out to needy families and sharing the love of Jesus during this holiday season. This will be our fifth consecutive year ministering a Christmas outreach and we are excited! What a great time of the year to exalt Christ and witness His saving love. So many people really don’t know the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Christ!

od has laid it upon our hearts to minister to a local, very needy trailer park- Oak Grove Trailer park in Mishawka, IN. We have been building relationships with the residents there, as we have had two outreaches there earlier this year (spring and summer). We are building trust and friendship with the people and we have seen fruit developing and we know this Christmas outreach will only build on what God is already doing in these people’s lives.

We are building trust and friendship with the people and we have seen fruit developing and we know this Christmas outreach will only build on what God is already doing in these people’s lives.We will be teaming up with Pastor Reid & Kim Crow of Living Hope Church. Their church is about a mile away from Oak Grove. The plan is to invite the residents of Oak Grove Trailer Park to Living Hope Church, where we will prepare and serve a meal for them which will consist of: shaved ham sandwiches, salads, coffee-punch, and desert. We will also bless the people with a food box containing a 5lb canned ham, boxed potatoes, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter and cereal. It is on our hearts to bless the children as well, so we will have gifts for them along with gifts for the teenagers.
During the event will be singing Christmas Carols and having testimony times, exalting Jesus- which is the real reason for the season! We will be loving on all who come, we will be praying for the sick and witnessing the Gospel. The main speaking event will be a message on the "True meaning of Christmas" with an alter call for salvation.
Please pray for this outreach. We are believing for lives to be transformed and Jesus to be exalted!
