I have an invite for all of you who live locally, in hopes you can
attend a Special Outreach Meeting we are having April 11th. at my home. Please
pray about attending.
We will be talking about outreach- current outreaches and
the three outreaches (block-party outreaches) planned this spring and summer.
We will discuss the different ways to serve at outreaches
and the different positions available for people to fit their talents and gifting.
We will discuss the dates, times and locations of these outreaches -these topics and much more will be discussed.

Some of you who may have never attended a
"block-party" outreach, what we do is target a needy area in the city
and after much prayer we go out and invite the neighborhood people to the free
event (the block party). At the event, we bring out our large grill and we
serve free hotdogs and grilled cheeses, along with chips, cookies and fruit
punch. We get a bounce house to bless
the kids along with face painting. We set up all our canopy tents, tables and
chairs for people to sit and eat. We bring out our sound system to have
music-plus we testify and share the gospel to those attending. We serve, we
love, we share Jesus! We always have a free Book table where we give out Bibles
and tracts. In a nutshell, these block parties are an incredible way to love
people and evangelize.
