UPDATE- 2 December Outreaches - Christmas Food Box & Juvenile Facility

The last two outreaches we had in December were incredible!! Loving people, praying, sharing Christ, blessing and ministering the Gospel. It was awesome!

We want to thank all those who prayed and gave finances toward these events. Some of you went and bought items to include in the gift bags, again we say "Thank you!!"

We posted some pics below to give you an idea how and what we were doing. Please continue to pray for the souls who were reached. We know God is working in their lives and we trust Him to finish what He started.

December 13th Elkhart Juvenile Detension Facility

This was our 1st annual Christmas Outreach to these troubled teens. We are blessed them with a Christmas bag of goodies and most of all we shared the "True meaning of Christmas" to them, giving them Bibles and tracts, offering prayers and showing the love of Jesus.

[Since this is a lock down facility we could not bring a camera into the Facility] but below, the pics show what we brought in to make it special to the students.

We ministered to sixteen young people, ages from 14-18 years old. I shared a powerful Word to them on Christ and why he came-to save sinners. We passed out eight new Bibles to kids who did not have a Bible. At the end of the meeting I had some personal ministry with a young man who was struggling with nightmares. I prayed over him and shared the love of Christ with him, rebuking the enemy from his life as this young man is a believer. We also prayed for a young girl who was struggling with unforgiveness as someone had hurt her in a bad way, and she was dealing with this and it was a struggle. Please keep her (Amber) and all the troubled young people in your prayers. Thanks!

Christmas Food Box Outreach December 15th & 19th

This was our ninth annual Christmas Food Box Outreach. There is just something about ministering Jesus during the Christmas season.

We targeted some very needy people in the Elkhart area a total of fourteen families and we hand delivering these Christmas Boxes right into their homes. What was really good about this was, we got to minister to the whole family, Moms. Dads, Kids, Grandmas- It was incredible. We didn't just hand them a box and run off- No-we stayed and talked with the family,  we ministered to them, getting to know their kids, sharing scriptures, praying, preaching, testifying. It was incredible! We plan on staying connected with several of these people.

A big shout out to a couple of my Teen Challenge buddies (Josh Eaton & Al Ferrer) as they assisted me during this outreach.

Below you will see the pics and faces of those we talked to. Please keep them in your prayers!! Thanks everyone!

We not only gave food but presents for the kids!

Please keep this little guy (Red head kid) holding his new Bible. His name is Si and he is in a split home with troubled parents. His Grandma (in pic) is doing the best she can..Her name is Lala ..please keep them in prayer.

Please keep this family in your prayers- The husband is currently locked up. The young man in the pic is only fourteen and is dealing with a lot of responsibility for his age. They were so thankful for the food and gifts.
This family was in real need as the young woman has no husband doing her best to raise her two kids
The man in this pic is named Mike with her daughter. She is really struggling trying to get her life in order with a new baby. Mike is dealing with insomnia and is struggling. Both were thankful for the food and were so appreciative of the prayers.
This is Richard with his daughter (and pet cat) They were so blessed with the fellowship and the food box. Richard asked for prayer, for God to make a way out of the current area he is living in-it's a dangerous part of Elkhart and recently he was threatened at gun point. So please pray for him and his family.
This is James & Deb- please pray for them as they have been struggling with their marriage. We spent some time ministering to them and we know Gods desire for this family to stay together.
This is the McDonald family- 3 generations. Plus two other families staying in this small home. They were so appreciative of the prayers and encouragement. The fellow standing in middle of the pic is James the 1st. We met him over the summer as we were going door to door ministering Jesus. As we talked to him that day he shared that he almost died from an alcoholic stupor (He hit his head as he was drunk) He spent a couple of days in the hospital. We prayed for his deliverance that day on the porch-also for deliverance of cigarettes...As we talked to him this December evening- he hadn't had a drink of booze since that day we prayed and no nicotine either!!.. Praise the Lord... God is good!
This is a man named Josh and his family, I originally met him in the County Jail...We randomly ran across him during the summer as we were ministering Door to Door in the neighborhoods. He is doing fine!... Serving God and being faithful to his family. His own testimony was how Jail gave him the time and opportunity to get to know God...Praise the Lord!... (this is why I love Jail ministry) .
When we talked over the summer Josh mentioned his knee, that it was "messed-up" & hard to walk on, and he was alarmed that it would effect his opportunity to work and provide for his family... I asked if we could pray for Him...Believing an all-sufficient God to bring healing...Amen...
That was over the summer... As we brought the box to him (Christmas Box pic)- he said to me...(as I had forgot we had prayed over his knee)... His exact words, "Remember that knee problem I had?"..."You guys all prayed over it"... ( I said, yes... as I was recalling the situation.).. "I haven't had any problems ever since you all prayed in the name of Jesus!!!".... Hallelujah!!... Our God...JESUS still is in the healing business...
This is Kattie and her daughter. They were both so appreciative of the box and gifts. It was a blessing to spend some with them and hear their testimonies of healing.
Thanks to everyone who prayed and support these outreaches... God bless you all!
