Testimoies & Pic's

Below are a few pictures of the area where we had the outreach.
Also a couple of testimonies.

As i look back at the outreach i can only say one thing...God is awesome! Awesome in preparing the workers, preparing the residents, awesome in the supply of food and money and awesome in giving us the desire of our hearts.
All the residents were receptive to prayer and most appreciated the food. One particular encounter that stands out in my mind is that we went to a trailer and a young lady came to the door. she was only there to let out the dog because her aunt was out of town. this young lady lives in Elkhart and has 5 young children and a husband who is low on work. she said that they are really stretched financially. we asked her if she would like the food box, her eyes lit up and she said yes. we then had the chance to minister to her and prayed a prayer of faith and healing over her and her family. we also gave all the kids toys...they loved it!!!
The other standout is we came to a Hispanic church where one of the team members happened to know the pastor. we blessed them with lots of food boxes and toys. the pastor said that they have many needy families that need blessed and they had been praying to god for the resources to do it. Isn't God good!!!!!! he sends us to bless them so they can bless others we will never know this side of heaven!!!! awesome!!! we had a time of prayer with the pastor, some church members and many from our group. as you can see, there were many divine appointments.
i think it is only a small example of what can happen when we get out of our comfort zone and respond in faith to the gospel that we know and do the "work of ministry." remember, real bible faith is believing the word of god until IT determines what you think, what you say and what you DO!! so many times we leave off the doing part and ,of course, miss the greatest blessing that god has for us. -Bro. As I reflect back on the outreach, many-many things stand out as incredible.
The supply that God provided was totally awesome! 114 food baskets! Wow!! God is truly a provider. Next the people of God who came forth, giving up a full day so close to Christmas, it was a sacrifice and praise God for people’s obedience. Also, for many it was the first time ministering on the streets. PRAISE GOD!! The weather was another blessing from God,
Typical weather December in North Indiana is not 50 degrees. Again all praise to the Lord!!

Prior to the outreach Jodi and I prayed for God to lead us to those who would need to receive the blessing of food and receive the Gospel. God was truly faithful – I prayed that we would be able to go into every home and minister
together to the people and again God moved on hearts and we were asked in to every home we went to.

We first met 3 people were in a trailer. They were very respectful to us (they did seem a little nervous) and we talked and Jodi and I were able to share the real reason of Christmas and we prayed for them and they were thankful for the food basket.

Jodi was really blessed by the next couple we met. A elderly couple with a fixed income. Inside their trailer it was real simple as they didn’t have much. The man
Was raised Baptist and it had been year since his was in church. The lady was baptized many years ago she said. We shared with them how God led us to them for the specific reason to remind them that God desires to be their Lord and to have a daily relationship with them and how they need to call out to God. We shared much more with them and prayed over them- Both of them had a lot of ailments and we laid hands on them believing God to touch them and heal them. Both of them had tears in their eyes as we left. I held up the Bible that we had in the boxes and reminded them how Jesus desires to speak to them as they read the Word of God!! It was truly awesome to minister to them...Were planning on stopping back and checking on them.

We met a young Hispanic couple with 2 babies. The lady couldn’t speak English
So the young man was interpreting to her what we were saying about Jesus!!
(Wow!..that was neat.) Both were convicted big time. Again- we encouraged them to repent, read the Word and seek the Lord. They really needed the food as it was obvious that they had very little. We prayed for them and exalted Jesus!

Another testimony that stands out was a black gentlemen we met his name was Donnie. He was living with his girl friend who was a JW. He was very respectful and listened to us minister Jesus. We encouraged him to repent & read the Bible and seek the Lord for truth. He said he was struggling with a drinking problem. We shared how Jesus could set him free!! Totally forever! Donnie took his hat off as we prayed. We prayed for him to know Jesus and for Jesus to set him free.

We could go and on as we met others ..It was such a awesome outreach.
I do want to share this last testimony as it real stands out to me. We had one last box and I walked up to the trailer with my mom. A young lady answered and I shared why were there and how God was wanting to bless her and her family today with this food basket. Her jaw fell open and she was speechless as come to find out she had mostly nothing to feed her kids. Her two boys came running to us. They were 4 to 5 years old. They grabbed on us and just hugged us. I know they didn’t realize what was going on but the Spirit of God moving and touching them and their mother was weeping she was so thankful.

These were just a few testimonies from the awesome day we all had. Please pray as were planning on getting back with many that we ministered to. I will try to keep the blog updated with current info & prayer needs.
God bless
