Christmas Outreach This Friday Dec. 17th

This Friday, December 17th is the Christmas Outreach. We are excited about what the Lord is going to do!

We have been busy putting together the Food Boxes. The boxes are absolutely stuffed full of food.

A team of six of us were out this last Saturday going door to door at Oak Grove Trailer Park passing out the invitations and praying/ministering to the people. We had an absolutely great time. We got a very positive response from most all the people. We are expecting most to come.

Please pray. We know that the Lord is desiring to do some awesome things this Friday!

If you are planning on coming:

Where: Living Hope Church, 54885 Elder Road, Mishawaka (off Day Rd.)

Time: 6:00p.m. this Friday December 17th.

We could use help in all areas... (set-up, serving food, passing out food boxes/presents, clean-up, ministering to people: prayer, testimonies, etc.) Also, several people need rides from Oak Grove to the Church so we will be car pooling people as well. (Oak Grove is about 1.5 miles away from the Church.)

The goal of this outreach is to minister Jesus! We will do this in words and in action as we love folk that come and bless them with food and gifts. We will be witnessing one to one with everyone. Praying and sharing the Word. We plan on singing Christmas songs that glorify Jesus! Then at the end of the meeting we will share a message on the "True Meaning of Christmas" with an altar call.

Thanks Saints! Please keep this in your prayers!

God bless.

*As always, any questions please call me.

Gearing Up For The Christmas Outreach -Dec 17th

This December 17th, 2010 the lifeline team will be reaching out to needy families and sharing the love of Jesus during this holiday season. This will be our fifth consecutive year ministering a Christmas outreach and we are excited! What a great time of the year to exalt Christ and witness His saving love. So many people really don’t know the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Christ!

God has laid it upon our hearts to minister to a local, very needy trailer park- Oak Grove Trailer park in Mishawka, IN. We have been building relationships with the residents there, as we have had two outreaches there earlier this year (spring and summer). We are building trust and friendship with the people and we have seen fruit developing and we know this Christmas outreach will only build on what God is already doing in these people’s lives.

We will be teaming up with Pastor Reid & Kim Crow of Living Hope Church. Their church is about a mile away from Oak Grove. The plan is to invite the residents of Oak Grove Trailer Park to Living Hope Church, where we will prepare and serve a meal for them which will consist of: shaved ham sandwiches, salads, coffee-punch, and desert. We will also bless the people with a food box containing a 5lb canned ham, boxed potatoes, canned fruit and vegetables, peanut butter and cereal. It is on our hearts to bless the children as well, so we will have gifts for them along with gifts for the teenagers.

During the event will be singing Christmas Carols and having testimony times, exalting Jesus- which is the real reason for the season! We will be loving on all who come, we will be praying for the sick and witnessing the Gospel. The main speaking event will be a message on the "True meaning of Christmas" with an alter call for salvation.

Please pray for this outreach. We are believing for lives to be transformed and Jesus to be exalted!

RAVINA PARK RECAP

Greetings everyone,

A big thanks to all who prayed for the Ravina Park Outreach! (SEE PICS BELOW)

It was another awesome outreach to the community. This time we set up in a needy inner city area in South Bend, IN. We have been ministering on the streets the last couple of weeks, meeting and ministering the the people around Ravina Park. Many people came to the event! Praise God!

They came and heard the Shield of faith praise band, who were absolutely awesome! Many people received clothing- as we had tables of clothes, plus some awesome grilled food. We did have a slight scare early in the day, as the trailer experienced some mechanical difficulties, but the Lord came through as the problem was solved and it turned out to be an incredible day of ministry, loving on people- being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Also, it was so cool having a couple of local area Pastors out with us teaming up with us to minister to the lost. Amen. Several people got right with the Lord this day as we had some incredible ministry with the people as they came to the event. To God be the glory!

*- I just got a report that several families that we ministered to and prayed with on Saturday went to those area Churches on Sunday..So we praise God for that!!

Thanks again for all your prayers. This was the last block-party type outreach of the year. We had a total of eight outreaches this year and all were incredible.

Please keep these upcoming ministry events in your prayers (pray about teaming up with us):

-South Bend Juvenile ministry every week (Fridays and Tuesdays).
-Also, We are communicating with Highland Trailer Court (where we had a summer outreach) to have an October 31st alternative halloween event with the kids, this will be an incredible time to minister Jesus.
-Christmas Outreach (Dec 11th)

God bless!

OAK GROVE OUTREACH RECAP

Oak Grove outreach was awesome! Some great ministry took place. Again, we had several local ministries and Churches hooking up to reach out to the lost. Everyone did an outstanding job. A big shout of thanks to all whom gave up their Saturday afternoon to do the work of the ministry! We love you all!

Many people of the Oak Grove community remembered us from our May outreach and were so thankful to see up back.

We cooked up burgers & hotdogs. We had tables of all kinds of clothing, books and Bibles, a live band- all for free to connect with and bless the community.

We had several awesome God encounters as six people came to repentance today and cried out to Jesus for salvation. One gentleman named Blain who was invited to the outreach as Bro. Frankie ran across him at the corner gas station. Blain was recently released from the county jail- and he was starting to revert back to his old ways. As the team ministered to him he repented and cried out to Jesus for forgiveness and restoration!- a total God appointment. Praise Jesus!

A man named Zane was invited to the cook-out and was convicted as he heard the preaching and was confronted with his sin. He cried for forgiveness and was able to take home with him a brand new Bible.Hallelujah!

We connected many of the people we ministered to with Pastor Reed of living Hope Church. He and his wife were at the outreach assisting and ministering. Their church is less than 1 mile away from Oak Grove.

So again, we give a big shout of thanks to all who came, prayed for and gave to the outreach!.. Amen!.. Souls were reaped and lives were touched for Jesus!

Check the pics below.

**Next outreach SEPT 25th at Ravina Park in South Bend. This will be the last block-party type outreach of the year. We plan on ministering on the streets and in the neighborhoods Friday’s SEPT 17th and 24th. We could use help passing out fliers. Please contact me if interested.

Thanks Saints.
