Evangelism Concert at Bashor Children's Home July 7th

Hi Friends of Lifeline,
Hey, We are super excited! In two weeks, July 7th to be exact, we will be ministering at Bashor Children’s home in Goshen, Indiana. This will be an outdoor concert with Christian Rock Band PS150 from San Antonio, TX.

PS 150 is a band lead by husband and wife team-Brandon and Samantha Deletto. We have done several outreaches with this couple and their band and it has always been awesome! I love these guys! What I love the most about them, besides their awesome music, is their love for Jesus and their passion to share God’s love and minister the Gospel. Amen. So we are excited for what God is going to do this day.

Bashor Children’s Home provides help for troubled children and their families through residential care, day treatment/ alternative education, foster care, and many other services. With many of their students and staff living on campus this will be an awesome event to share the love of Christ to them but also, Bashor Home is also opening this event up to the other students and their families that do not live on-site. So we are expecting a great time!

Besides the concert, Pastor Jeff Cooper from Christ’s Kingdom Fellowship will be ministering an evangelistic message to close the concert. So we anticipating a powerful time. We will also be giving out free Bibles, Christian Books and tracts. We as a ministry team will be fellow-shipping with the people we meet, ministering one on one, offering prayers, sharing our testimonies, letting all those we talk to know that Jesus is the only hope for our lives!

And yes! We will be bringing the grill in to be a blessing to everyone who attends. We will be providing free hotdogs, chips, cookies, and lemonade. We are trusting God for a great day!

Teen Challenge Cook-Out/Fellowship

Elkhart Teen Challenge group

Quick update on the Elkhart Teen Challenge Cook-out:

In November of last year I found out Elkhart has a Teen Challenge in our city. I was excited and immediately began to pray for the Lord to connect us together. I have always held Teen Challenge in high regard. One of my hero's of the faith, David Wilkerson, founded the ministry back the late 1950's and I have heard so many great deliverance testimonies from people through the years about Teen Challenge. There are hundreds of  TC centers in the USA.

TC is a faith based rehabilitation program for men- eighteen years old and older. It is Christian discipleship based program, with the goal of “freedom in Christ!” The guys going through the program are in the program for 12 to 18 month and it has an incredible success rate for staying free from satan's bondage's! Amen!

So after about after two weeks of seeking the Lord about connecting with this ministry, I just happen to cross paths with Mark Howel the Evangelistic Coordinator of the  Elkhart Teen Challenge. (How cool is that!) Ha!...We both were coming out from ministering to the men in different jail cells. I call that a God appointment!

So that was the start of how the Lord connected us together. These brothers at TC have been part of the outreaches- serving and evangelizing. I have seen the fruit of what the Lord is doing here and it is amazing!

It was on Jodi my heart along with my Mom and Dad, to have a fellowship with the group. So, this last Saturday was our get together and we had a great time! We had some awesome fellowship!! Over twenty of the guys came to our house as we prepared a time of swimming, fun, cook-out. But not only that, we had some great praise and worship, a time in the Word of God and one of the brothers got water baptized. It was a great day!

It was a pleasure to encourage these brothers to keep going after God and NOT to quit!! ...Amen.
Please keep the Elkhart Teen Challenge in your prayers along with the staff leaders. Thanks everyone! (...check out the pics below)

God bless!

La Casa Outreach Update!... Great Outreach

Hi friends,

“What’s this chill I’m feeling?”….

This is what Kenny was asking me as I was talking to him soon after he and his wife walked forward to get right with God as the altar call was given at the La Casa Est. Apartment block-party outreach this last Saturday. Well, certainly it wasn’t the 90 degree weather that we were experiencing outside. Ha!... Kenny and his wife Riana, had just surrendered their lives to the Lord during the altar call, after a powerful message preached by my Pastor Jeff Cooper of Christ’s Kingdom Fellowship.

Kenny asking for forgiveness
It was a great turn out!
This block-party outreach was an incredible event!  La Casa Apartments is located right by the railroad tracks in down town Elkhart. It is very urban, a very needy area and it was a blessing to minister here. The very neat thing about a location like this, is that many people just wandered in to check things out, and we know the Lord was drawing many of them to this location-amen. It was also great to see many familiar faces, as the last three weeks many of us on the ministry team have been walking the neighborhoods passing out flyers, evangelizing, meeting the neighborhood people inviting them to the outreach and it was awesome seeing many of the people come out.

As always, everything at our outreaches are free to the people, as we bless them in Jesus name.- “ freely we have received, freely we give!” (Mathew 10:8)...Amen!

Bounce House is always a big hit with the kids!
We had a bounce house, face painting, Bible story reading for the children. We had live music- exalting Christ, free food and clothing, plus, some powerful testimonies. We always give out free Bibles and Christian books . For sure, we had some incredible one to one ministry with the people, as we talked and ministered to them. The highlight of the day was a powerful word preached by Pastor Jeff Cooper, with several people coming forward to get right with the Lord during the altar call!...amen. It was amazing! seeing the people come forward as the Lord was drawing them.
Pastor Jeff Cooper preaching

So many people received from the Lord this day, and we sure appreciate your prayers- as efforts are in place to start a Bible Study right in this area to continue build on what the Lord is doing.

Some of you may or may not know that Jodi and I are part of a new Church plant in Elkhart Co. with Christ’s Kingdom Fellowship, pastored by Jeff Cooper, a graduate of World Harvest Bible Institute (Columbus, OH), and we are currently seeking a building. This church is going to be a outreach multi-racial Church- reaching the neediest people, the rejected ones. This Bible study could possibly lead into what the Lord would have us do-so please be praying- Our hearts are to do the Lords will and be where He desires to plant us.

Please, check out the pictures (below) - it is true, that pictures speak louder than words.  All praise and glory to Jesus- Our king and Savior! Please keep these folk in prayer as the Lord continues to do a work in their lives

A big shout of “Thanks!” to everyone who served at the outreach- It was worth it.

A shout of “Thanks!” to all who prayed and gave money to this, I pray the Lord bless you back, Big Time!
Thank you for taking time to read this and for your prayers.

*Next Outreach is at Bashor Children’s Home in Goshen.  This will be a Free Outdoor Evangelism Concert with the Christian rock band PS150 from Texas. More info on that later… Thanks again. God bless!
