RAVINA PARK RECAP

Greetings everyone,

A big thanks to all who prayed for the Ravina Park Outreach! (SEE PICS BELOW)

It was another awesome outreach to the community. This time we set up in a needy inner city area in South Bend, IN. We have been ministering on the streets the last couple of weeks, meeting and ministering the the people around Ravina Park. Many people came to the event! Praise God!

They came and heard the Shield of faith praise band, who were absolutely awesome! Many people received clothing- as we had tables of clothes, plus some awesome grilled food. We did have a slight scare early in the day, as the trailer experienced some mechanical difficulties, but the Lord came through as the problem was solved and it turned out to be an incredible day of ministry, loving on people- being the hands and feet of Jesus!

Also, it was so cool having a couple of local area Pastors out with us teaming up with us to minister to the lost. Amen. Several people got right with the Lord this day as we had some incredible ministry with the people as they came to the event. To God be the glory!

*- I just got a report that several families that we ministered to and prayed with on Saturday went to those area Churches on Sunday..So we praise God for that!!

Thanks again for all your prayers. This was the last block-party type outreach of the year. We had a total of eight outreaches this year and all were incredible.

Please keep these upcoming ministry events in your prayers (pray about teaming up with us):

-South Bend Juvenile ministry every week (Fridays and Tuesdays).
-Also, We are communicating with Highland Trailer Court (where we had a summer outreach) to have an October 31st alternative halloween event with the kids, this will be an incredible time to minister Jesus.
-Christmas Outreach (Dec 11th)

A BIG SHOUT TO OUR NEW LIFELINE JUVENILE MINISTERS!!

Just wanted to acknowledge and give a big shout of "God bless!" to the five new Lifeline Outreach Juvenile Ministers! These five have just recently been approved to go into South Bend Juvenile Correctional Facility. God bless you guys! Thanks for joining the ranks...ha! We are expecting God to continue move and touch lives!

The five new folks are Gerri and Si (my Mom and Dad...love you guys!) Bill, Ricky and Jon!..love you guys too!..ha! Your all awesome, were excited to see the Lord move and touch lives!

We know that the Lord is doing a work. We praise Him for the opportunity that He has given us to minister in this facility. We go in as a team every Friday and every other Tuesday.

It is such a blessing to step out and share the Word of God. To Sow into peoples lives, to witness Jesus to those that need Him! Not only is it a blessing to those we wintness to- but it is also a blessing to us...Amen

UPCOMING OUTREACH: RAVINA PARK

This Saturday September 25th will be our final block-party style outreach of the year.

We will be ministering in Ravina Park in South Bend. A couple of local churches will teaming up with us along with the whole team. Please pray about helping

We will be serving grilled food with live praise music along with childrens ministry and a tables of clothes. All for free as we minister Jesus and testify of His great love.

We have ministry opportunities in these areas:
- Children workers (face painting, games)
- Food workers (grilling, serving, clean-up)
- Passing out flier invites (walking neighborhoods witnessing and inviting to outreach)
- Clothing table workers (setting up, assisting people with clothes, sorting clothes etc.)
- Prayer warriors (praying for the sick, deliverance, for God to touch lives)
- People to minister (loving on people, sharing the Gospel, testifying)

When: September 25th, 2010.
Time: 11-3 p.m.
Location: Ravina Park in South Bend. (Corner of East Indiana and Lebanon St. (between Miami and S. Michigan Streets, off of Indiana)

Please pray for God to draw the backsliders and sinners.

AWESOME OAK GROVE TESTIMONY

God is drawing them in!

Below is an email from Pastor Reid who was assisting at the Oak Grove Outreach we had last Saturday.

His church (Living Hope Church) is about 1 mile away from the Oak Grove trailer court. Pastor Reid and his wife are continuing to minister and reach out to the community. God is doing a work saints..please continue to keep this in prayer...Amen!!

Greetings & Blessings!

I wanted to let you know that we had 16 visitors on Sunday. One of the families that just moved into Oakgrove is need of a Washer, couch or futon, a twin bed or full bed/ or mattresses. Would you pass the word around, and if you locate something, just let me know?.

We may need to buy a bus to provide rides.

OAK GROVE OUTREACH RECAP

Oak Grove outreach was awesome! Some great ministry took place. Again, we had several local ministries and Churches hooking up to reach out to the lost. Everyone did an outstanding job. A big shout of thanks to all whom gave up their Saturday afternoon to do the work of the ministry! We love you all!

Many people of the Oak Grove community remembered us from our May outreach and were so thankful to see up back.

We cooked up burgers & hotdogs. We had tables of all kinds of clothing, books and Bibles, a live band- all for free to connect with and bless the community.

We had several awesome God encounters as six people came to repentance today and cried out to Jesus for salvation. One gentleman named Blain who was invited to the outreach as Bro. Frankie ran across him at the corner gas station. Blain was recently released from the county jail- and he was starting to revert back to his old ways. As the team ministered to him he repented and cried out to Jesus for forgiveness and restoration!- a total God appointment. Praise Jesus!

A man named Zane was invited to the cook-out and was convicted as he heard the preaching and was confronted with his sin. He cried for forgiveness and was able to take home with him a brand new Bible.Hallelujah!

We connected many of the people we ministered to with Pastor Reed of living Hope Church. He and his wife were at the outreach assisting and ministering. Their church is less than 1 mile away from Oak Grove.

So again, we give a big shout of thanks to all who came, prayed for and gave to the outreach!.. Amen!.. Souls were reaped and lives were touched for Jesus!
