Witnessing at the JAZZ FEST

The Elkhart Jazz Fest draws hundreds of people to down town Elkhart.

Dale Weidner-Steve King and myself went out and witnessed to many.
Dale brought his guitar which at times attracted some attention.

A few highlights:
We met 2 different Catholic guys that listened as we shared the Gospel. One was a young guy who did not have an answer when I asked him "how dose a Catholic gets saved and enter into heaven?" He listened as I shared the Gospel.

There was a guy named Tom we bumped into in front of McDonald's and he shared his struggle with pot but was not ready to give it up.

I also ministered to a Muslim young man. Plus many more it was a great night!

Jail Ministry Tonight..please pray!

To my Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Tonight a small band of us go into the Elkhart County Jail to minister Jesus.
We’ll be going right into the cell blocks; this is where they live behind bars, caged up.
Please pray for God to touch lives. Please pray for hearts to be receptive to the Gospel. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to bring truth and conviction. Pray for men and women to yield their heart, soul, mind and strength to Jesus Christ.

My heart goes out to the men and women in the jail- yes, many of them are repeat offenders and violent evil men and women. Many of these guys and gals are drug users and drug dealers, alcoholics, thieves, liars, abusers, murderers, swindlers, cheaters, etc. etc. But they are human beings that Jesus died for. God loves them and desires to save them! And let’s be honest for minute, how many of us were that same way before the Lord reached us?—I know I was a wretch one heart beat from the flames of hell before the Holy Spirit lead me to Jesus! Man, we all were dead in our sins and blind to Gospel before the Holy Ghost convicted us and drew us to the Blood Stained Cross! If it wasn’t for the grace of God we all would still be in the devils bondage.

Many of these inmates were raise without a father figure in their life and they put on masks. The men have to act tough and macho as to not show their frailties, hurts, pains and disappointments. I’ve seen these same tough guys weep under the power of God.
The Holy Sprit can break through that hard crust. –Please pray for God to move and draw tonight. I know nothing is impossible for God! God can draw the stony heart. He can break through the toughest shell.

“Lord we cry out for souls tonight! Reach the lost! Draw the sinner! Bring conviction! Show the proud that they are nothing without you! Break through the arrogance. We pray the blinders come of their spiritual eyes that they may see Jesus!! Do it tonight God!!
We praise you and give you all glory!! Amen!!”

Thanks Saints!
